The Southwest Police Motorcycle Training and Competition is a threefold event consists of motorcycle training, skills competition, and community engagement through support of Special Olympics.In 1997 SPMTC started with approximately 35 participants from about 7 police agencies. Since then, this event has grown to have 130 motor officers competing from 25 different agencies and the location rotates between Phoenix, Tucson, and Las Vegas. In addition to participants, many vendors and spectators come together to enjoy the event and support participating law enforcement.
