Officer Walker was shot and killed while working an undercover cocaine case. He was sitting in his car at Tucson International Airport when he was shot. The assailant, Genaro Celaya, 28, of Ajo, was captured a short time later with Walker’s flash roll in his possession. Celaya was convicted and sentenced to life in prison, where he died of natural causes in 2014.
