A wanted felon who had allegedly rammed a deputy’s patrol car during a traffic stop has been taken into custody, according to the Spokesman-Review.
Police say the subject put his car in reverse, rammed into the patrol car, and fled. A detective later learned that the suspect might be holed up in a local Quality Inn hotel.
When police arrested 38-year-old Shane Pariseau in his hotel room in downtown Spokane, they also reportedly discovered a pound of heroin, half a pound of methamphetamine, several suboxone strips, and about $13,000 in cash.
The subject refused to comply with commands, so K-9 “Gunnar” was deployed to bring him into custody.
Several other individuals in the room with Pariseau have not been charged with any crimes. The investigation is ongoing.
