VIDEO: Oklahoma Officer Suing Taco Bell, Claims Tainted Meal Caused Severe Burns
An Oklahoma City police officer is suing over an allegedly tainted quesadilla.
Sgt. Shawn Byrne claimed two convicted felons, working at a local Taco Bell, tampered with his meal and it left him with severe burns.
Byrne and his wife filed a lawsuit on March 31 against Taco Bell LLC and Taco Bell Inc., Newson6 reports.
The couple is seeking more than $75,000 in damages.
“The problem is the pepper that was put on there was to an extent that it caused severe burning and blistering in his mouth,” said Brian Dell, Byrne’s attorney.
