An off-duty deputy with the Riverside County (CA) Sheriff’s Department is being credited with saving the life of a choking 3-year-old boy.
Deputy Robert Carrasco was having dinner with his family at a restaurant last month when he noticed Nathan was choking.
He raced over and gave him several blows to the back and eventually dislodged a piece of candy that was stuck in Nathan’s throat, Fox Los Angeles reports.
