District Six Troopers team up with Swat, K-9, GIITEM, other local agencies and Sam’s Club for a multi-agency public safety event.Â
On April 8, 2017, DPS joined Sam’s Club in Casa Grande for their day of public safety. The event was in conjunction with safety departments in Casa Grande, Pinal County, and U.S. Border Patrol.
Â
During the event, community members were exposed to information regarding the safety corridor, distracted driving, seatbelt usage, child restraint usage, gang prevention, career opportunities with DPS and a K-9 demonstration.
Â
DPS has a long-standing commitment to the community. This event is one of many that DPS takes part in to constantly strengthen community relations and give back.
Â
Those involved in the public safety event included Casa Grande Police Department, Casa Grande Fire Department, Casa Grande Alliance, Pinal County Sheriff, Pinal County Probation Services, Pinal County Attorney’s Office, U.S. Border Patrol, air medical services and Sam’s Club.
