On Tuesday, November 6, 2018, the Research and Planning Unit attended a Police Planner’s Career Day at Arizona State University on the Downtown Phoenix campus. This was a part of an International Association of Law Enforcement Planners’ 
(IALEP) Southwest Chapter, in a partnership with ASU, highlighting the many roles and responsibilities we hold in law enforcement professions with students in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice. We brought along examples of rules reports, scorecards, strategic plans, general orders and manuals to help better explain our individual roles within Research and Planning.
The event was an overall success with great participation and interest shown by ASU students!
