Two men shot during road rage along L101 in west valley

On Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at approximately 9:30 p.m. the Arizona Department of Public Safety (ADPS) responded to reports of a road rage incident on northbound State Route 101 near Indian School Road in Phoenix (West Valley). An occupant in one of the vehicles fired a handgun into the second vehicle, striking two victims, who were subsequently transported to a local hospital.
Suspect in Halloween road-rage shooting arrested earlier today
Phoenix ā A suspect in a road-rage shooting incident that occurred early Halloween morning along Interstate 17 was arrested earlier today by troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety (ADPS).

The male suspect, Eric J. Carreon of Phoenix, is being charged with endangerment, aggravated assault, drive-by shooting, criminal damage and possession of methamphetamine.
Arizona citizens led State detectives to the arrest of SR 101 road rage shooting suspect
Arizona Department of Public Safety (ADPS) detectives have arrested 36-year-old Christopher Hoffman for the road rage shooting he committed along SR 101 near Bell Road, on Saturday morning, OctoberĀ 3.

With the assistance of witnesses and vigilant citizens, detectives were able to locate Hoffman and vital evidence of the crime.

Hoffman has admitted involvement and the evidence located by State detectives directly links him to the shooting.
Arizona State detectives investigating shooting along SR 101 in west valley
Maricopa County ā Arizona Department of Public Safety (ADPS) troopers responded to the area of northbound SR 101 and Bell Road at approximately 11:05 a.m. for a report of gunshots fired at a passenger car.

State troopers quickly determined that shots had indeed been fired at a dark grey passenger car and called for State detectives to take over the investigation.
Detectives with the Arizona Department of Public Safety (ADPS) are investigating a number of incidents occurring on the freeways in the Phoenix metropolitan area that date back to August 29, 2015. Shooting takes place along the Loop 202 freeway Sunday night
On Sunday, September 6, 2015, at approximately 8:30 p.m., a shooting occurred on westbound SR 202 near 32ndĀ Street. After a disagreement in Tempe, a black Toyota Camry or Corolla with a temporary plate followed the victim vehicle west on SR 202. The Toyota was occupied by three males. At 32ndĀ Street an occupant of the Toyota fired at least once at the victim vehicle striking the victim vehicle.Ā
4 shootings along I-10 under investigation by detectives and state troopers
On August 29, 2015, between 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., Arizona State troopers investigated two separate shooting incidents along Interstate 10.

The first shooting occurred eastbound along I-10, at approximately 11:03 a.m. A sport utility vehicle was fired upon and struck. The front seat passenger, a 13 year old female, sustained a cut to her right ear, and was treated on-scene by the Fire Department; she was not transported.
