On 02-13-18, at approximately 4:20 pm, Diana Zito left the residence located at 10003 Pleasant Valley Road within Sun City, AZ for an unknown reason.
Diana is reported to be suffering from depression and takes medications related to assisting her mental health. Family members state Diana was feeling depressed and confused lately which caused her to remain in the home all day. She would not leave the residence without a family member because of her depression and also being unfamiliar with the area.
In the short time of residing in the area, Diana is not known to have any friends, or acquaintances nearby. Her vehicle was found parked in front of the residence, and all her personal belongings such as identification, cell phone, or money was left within the residence. Diana did leave the home wearing a maroon sweat shirt, gray sweat pants, and possibly suede type boots.
Due to the unusual departure of Diana, her being over the age of 72 years old, and having a reported history of depression, the situation was treated as a missing person. As a result a MCSO helicopter, Search/ Rescue, and tracking K-9 units responded to assist. As of midnight of 02-14-19, Diana has not been located and additional resources are required to continue the investigation into her whereabouts.
