Dave Scheppegrell has over 33 years of law enforcement experience with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. Dave retired from CMPD in 2013 at the rank of sergeant and remains a reserve sergeant overseeing the department’s youthful offender initiatives. Dave started and supervised CMPD’s Electronic Monitoring unit from 2005-2013. CMPD’s Electronic Monitoring Unit supervises over 400 violent and repeat offenders. Dave was nominated and selected by National Institute of Justice and the department of Justice to be on a committee to develop national standards for the electronic monitoring industry. Dave spent three years as the lead practitioner on the NIJ standards committee. Dave has extensive experience nationally and internationally helping other law enforcement and private agencies with development and implementation of offender tracking programs. Dave joined Omnilink in 2013 where he serves as the Electronic Monitoring Program Manager. Dave provides training, protocol and policy development, and best practices for Omnilink customers. Dave also manages many of Omnilink’s Law Enforcement and government accounts.
Dana Childers has spent almost 20 years working in the product management with a focus on usability, reliability, and customer experience. Her experience includes product development, design, and product management. With Sierra Wireless, Dana is currently responsible for the security businesses, which includes Omnilink offender monitoring and Uplink cellular alarm communications and interactive services.
