DORAL, Fla. — Newly released surveillance footage of a gunfight shows a suspect opening fire in a hotel lobby and quickly ducking behind the front counter to wait for police to enter.
ABC 10 reported former adult actor Jonathan Oddi, 42, entered the lobby of the Trump National Doral resort May 18 around 1:30 a.m.
Surveillance footage shows employees running as Oddi fired into the ceiling and spread a flag over the front desk. When police arrived, Oddi took cover and started shooting at them.
Officers fired back and later entered the building to apprehend Oddi on the second floor.
Oddi was shot in the leg during the incident. No officers were wounded.
Oddi faces charges including second-degree attempted murder, burglary, grand theft and criminal mischief.
