On March 23, 2015, St. Joseph’s Hospital unveiled a memorial honoring our youngest Arizona Department of Public Safety Officer. Christopher Greicius, 7, served as the inspiration of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses.
AHPA joined Christopher’s mother, Linda Pauling, Dr. Paul Baranko, Sister Madonna Marie Bolton and DPS Officer Tim Case for the presentation of the permanent shadowbox.
The organization is proud of our rich history with Make-A-Wish. We are grateful to retired DPS Officer Frank Shankwitz for beginning our relationship with this great non-profit. AHPA was one of the first donors during the inception of Make-A-Wish. To read more about how Make-A-Wish started, go to: http://arizona.wish.org/about-us/the-make-a-wish-story/the-first-wish
