A Jasper County (MO) Sheriff’s deputy was shot while serving a warrant at a local motel Wednesday night and sent to the hospital.
OzarksFirst.com reports the suspect is in custody after being gassed out of a room at an Econolodge.
The deputy currently receiving treatment at Freeman hospital has been identified as Deputy Nolan Murray with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office. He is currently in stable condition.
The deputy was wearing a body armor and was speaking when he was taken to Freeman Hospital.
