SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Police officers responding to a noise complaint seized the opportunity to connect with a few members of their community.

St. Paul officers responded to a noise complaint to find Javonte Williams, Storm McKee and three of their friends playing a new Nintendo Switch video game in their apartment, KARE 11 reports.

According to Officer Isaac Palmer, McKee greeted them at the door respectfully when they responded to the call.

“He just said his friends were over,” Palmer said. “They just got a new video game. They were having some beers, eating some pizza, nothing crazy.”

After showing his license to police, McKee invited the officers to come in for some pizza and video games.

“Most were kind of reluctant, but I opened the door wide and then two of them were like, ‘Oh, let’s get it’,” McKee said.

Javonte Williams posted videos and photos of the encounter on social media and the posts went viral.
