The driver had minor injuries, said Sgt. David Delgado of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division, adding that the officer was taken to a local hospital, but is in stable condition.
Delgado told the Daily News the motor officer was travelling westbound at 8:01 a.m. when the driver in the Mini Cooper turned in front of the officer, and the two vehicles collided.
