A guidance counselor at Grover Cleveland High School in Queens was arrested on Wednesday for punching a police officer in the face during a dispute inside the school, according to the New York Post.

A police officer was attempting to detain an emotionally disturbed 19-year-old student in a hallway when 37-year-old Phillip Lo Castro assaulted him.

Lo Castro was arrested and charged with assault and disorderly conduct. The student was taken to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
