According to WSFA-TV, an officer with the Montgomery (AL) Police Department has been arrested and charged with one count of felony enticement of a child to enter a house for immoral purposes. The incident in question reportedly involved a 15-year-old girl.
The officer—identified as 22-year-old Stevie Rodgers—was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility where he’s being held on a $5,000 bond.
Rogers has been with the Montgomery Police Department since 2015. The agency said in a statement that he has been relieved of his duty.
No further information about the case has been disclosed.
